Cannabis Tincture

In recent history, our society utilized many natural herbs and plants to remedy pain and illness. One plant in particular is currently on the edge of being re-legalized for medicinal and recreational use. Back when it was a doctor-prescribed medication, this herb came in the form of tincture, which is a concentrated form of THC, CBD and other cannabinoids in a liquid. Although you can apply the serum under the tongue and through the skin, unlike edibles, the effects of tincture tend to begin after about 15 minutes. Tincture may not be as popular now, but due to its discreet and timely effects, it might be worth crafting your very own serum to carry around.

Pint glass jar
Plastic wrap

1 Oz Cannabis
1 Tbsp Cardamom
1 Tbsp Coriander
1 Tbsp Goji Berries
750ml 190 Proof Clear Alcohol

Before beginning, it is important to chop and decarboxylate your cannabis to have the best desired effect. Place the chopped flowers in a jar and pack them to the bottom. Pour the alcohol over the cannabis, then add the goji berries, cardamom and coriander. Use your plastic wrap and tightly seal the jar and leave in a cool, dry place for 30 days. Try shaking the jar every few days to mix the ingredients. When finished, if you wish to fully filter your tincture, pour the mixture through a cheesecloth to separate the material from the liquid. We recommend using an eyedropper to administer proper doses on food, in drinks and even just under the tongue.
