Chrome Sparks - “Marijuana”

In 1977, jazz drummer Idris Muhammad released "Could Heaven Ever Be Like This," a hit single sampled by several artists including Jamie xx and Soul Providers. The most noteworthy nod, however, came from Pittsburgh-born, Brooklyn-based electronic artist Chrome Sparks who sampled the song on his ethereal 2013 track "Marijuana." Soon after, David D. Burkhart—a YouTuber who mixes old video footage to new music tracks—introduces this unofficial “Marijuana” video.
