Exclusive: Thievery Corporation Makes “History” in NOLA

By Trina Calderón

On tour this fall for their new album Treasures from the Temple, electronic indie mavericks Thievery Corporation stopped at historic Congo Square in New Orleans to make some of their own history.

In this exclusive video, Mr. Lif, Puma Ptah, Frank Orrall, Robbie Myers, Congo Sanchez and Rob Garza perform an acoustic live version of the song “History,” an epic new track off Treasures from the Temple, the follow-up LP to the band’s chart-topping 2017 album, Temple of I & I. The latest album is a 12-track compendium which includes a trove of original recordings and remixes from the band’s Temple sessions at Geejam Studios. Jamaica.

Cannabis advocates and entrepreneurs, Thievery Corporation created a Lebanese Blonde strain with Blue River earlier this year and are probably enjoying it on this tour, which lasts through New Year’s Eve.
