A hairbrush that looks like something out of a goody bag from a six-year-old’s birthday party, or perhaps something you’d consume at a six-year-old’s birthday party, might seem like a perplexing choice for a glowing review. But sometimes perplexing is good, and so is something that reminds you of strawberry ice cream with rainbow sprinkles (even though that combination sounds kind of gross).
The squiggly, colorful bristles of Eyecandy’s striking brush aren’t just for looks. Well, at least the squiggly part. They’re designed to naturally add volume to your hair by stimulating your scalp, while avoiding any irritation, and detangle at the same time. While the brush probably won’t give you instantly grandiose hair, so you’ll still want to use actual products, it does amp things up and gets knots out painlessly. Maybe because it was likely originally designed for a child. Whatever, it’s been really popular in Korea for a few years now, and we all know they know what’s up when it comes to beauty. It also has a super-sweet mirror on the back of the paddle part so you can check out your luscious locks post-styling.
Available at Opening Ceremony for $30.
