Twenty-eighteen has come in with a roar, at least for most of us (does the phrase “bomb cyclone” suddenly have meaning to you?), likely leaving you with the desire for something cozy. It’s also probably made you not want to go anywhere, like only outside when you absolutely have no choice. Winter has really only just begun, which means you deserve something cozy, classic and a little extravagant. Something that makes venturing out of the house a little sweeter, like Off-White’s Timberland Edition work boots.
From far away, they look like typically durable Timberlands. Up close, it’s a different, softer story, though it’s possible these will keep you warmer than the originals. A luxe take on the way-paving brand’s quintessential style, Virgil Abloh has fashioned them in lush, tactile velvet, stamped with Off-White’s signature embossed detailing. In tan, they’re totally timeless; in black, they are equally timeless (and they’re less likely to show signs of having stepped in slush). They also come in less practical and more striking shocking acid green, already sold out on Off-White’s website.
Available at Ssense for $955.
