Some things are supposed to be big. Like dreams, hearts and Macs. That’s the thinking behind Re/Done’s latest release of reworked vintage pieces. Re/Done, making it clear they’re not a denim company but a movement, is the line that spearheaded the resurgence of modernized vintage Levi’s. They might not be the first to do it, but they are the best. Every single pair of their reworked old Levi’s is surprisingly well-cut; read: no mom pooch, camel-toe or flattened-out bum.
Now, after a collaboration with Hanes’ T-shirts, they’ve moved into the realm of athletic wear, although you’ll be doing nothing but taking five in these roomy sweatshirts. Champion’s most quintessential sweatshirts have been reconstructed while maintaining their simplistic, unfussy appeal. "We took its baggy silhouette and created a sweatshirt that is paradoxically oversized and shapely,” says co-founder Sean Barron. “The oversized fit of the sweatshirt doesn’t overwhelm the wearer but, rather, flatters while still maintaining its comfort." The best part: There’s nothing girly about them.
Available at Re/Done for $205-$225 each.
