First of all, how has the term “glow job” not been used by a beauty company yet? Or by anyone? Props to Too Faced for jumping on that. Now that they have your attention, they also deserve props for managing to concoct a face mask as exciting to apply as it is to remove. This shit is jam-packed with not just straight-up glitter but “real gold.” We’re not exactly sure what that means, other than it’s not fake gold, but the important thing is that the mask works.
Too Faced co-founder Jerrod Blandino announced via an Instagram post that he’s “wanted to do a glitter mask for more than five years, but the science just wasn’t ready.” Now that it is, their sparkling formula (it’s also cruelty-, gluten- and paraben-free) claims to exfoliate skin and leave it brightened, smoothed, radiant and makeup-ready. All you need is a solid half an hour, in addition to an affinity for glitter. Use the spatula that comes with the jar to mix the gunk and activate the ingredients, apply liberally to your entire face, let it set for about 30 minutes until it’s totally dry and then peel it off. Voila. You’ve just given yourself a glow job.
Available at Too Faced for $42.
