Detroit legend Sheefy — a multi-hypenate artist, rapper, DJ, producer, designer and cannabis enthusiast — just dropped a new series titled Pro Black that turns protest signs into original art and prints.  

“I made a series imagining what I’d write on my own personal protest signs and turn it into art,” Sheefy said in a statement. “I also did my subconscious sketches venting through my artwork about these troubling times for Black People. I also included an original Black Panther sketch, which I drew digitally years ago. The image felt very appropriate, striking, and fun to include into the series.”

Sheefy partnered with 1xRUN for the art drop, and 100 percent of the profits will be split between five Detroit-based organizations that advance black issues. This is the latest collaboration in 1xRUN’s ongoing Artists Stand With Black Lives Matter series.
