RE/MX: High Fidelity

The Killers - "Land of the Free"

"Land of the Free" is not an album single or part of a soundtrack or meant to promote an upcoming tour. Rather, current events inspired The Killers to record this stand-alone single and then recruit Spike Lee to direct its music video. The gospel chorus-backed song references racism, gun violence, the private-prison system, the proposed border wall and the plight of migrant families.
